Be Part of Our 2023 Holiday Hamper Drive – Volunteer Today! ?

At the close of 2022, we reflect on the incredible impact we made during the holiday season. In 2022, we joined forces with YVR for the 12th Annual Holiday Hamper Drive, a heartwarming initiative. Together, we prepared and distributed 1,264 hampers, filled with festive delights, to families in need across the Lower Mainland. Your donations and the efforts of the YVR community made it possible to provide complete holiday meals, including turkeys, fresh produce, pantry items, and treats, ensuring over 7,500 British Columbians enjoyed a joyous holiday season.

But the challenges persist as the cost of food continues to rise. For instance, the price of turkeys has increased by 251% since 2020. The need for affordable and nutritious food is greater than ever.

This year, you can continue to make a difference. Gather your group of 3 to 10 people and volunteer as part of our Holiday Hamper campaign. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring families in need have a joyous holiday season.

Volunteer and help feed our community during the holiday season!

Here’s what you can expect when you volunteer as a group with Quest:

🏢 Location: Quest’s head office at 2020 Dundas Street, East Vancouver.
🚶‍♂️ Site Tour: You’ll start with a site tour to get familiar with the process.
🎄 Building Hampers: You and your group will actively help assemble holiday hampers, all while creating memorable moments and building camaraderie. It’s an opportunity to learn more about food security in our communities and make a real impact.

Our volunteer shifts are 4-hour team-building experiences taking place on weekdays during the first three weeks of December. These spots fill up quickly, so don’t hesitate. Whether it’s the holiday season or any other time of the year, reach out to Quest now to book your team and get involved in supporting Lower Mainland families during the holidays.

By volunteering as a group, you’ll not only make a meaningful difference in the lives of families but also create lasting memories and foster a sense of togetherness. Join us in spreading holiday cheer and ensuring everyone has a special meal this holiday season.

Get your group involved, be part of our mission, and make this year’s Holiday Hamper Drive another incredible success!
