Theodora Lamb Appointed New Executive Director of Quest Outreach Society

East Vancouver Business Improvement leader to take helm of non-profit grocery stores operating across Lower Mainland

June 4, 2021, xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) unceded territories/Vancouver, BC – Quest Outreach Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Theodora Lamb as its new Executive Director.

Theodora began her professional career in digital advocacy and campaigning, working with organizations like Mountain Equipment Coop and BC Children’s Hospital. She ran Cicada Community Consulting where she worked both on and offline to support not-for-profits and social enterprise businesses activate their member and donor communities. More recently, she served as the Executive Director of the Strathcona Business Improvement Association where she advocated on behalf of 850+ businesses operating across 44 city square blocks on the edge of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

“I am thrilled to be joining Quest as the organization’s new Executive Director. Operating at the intersection of food security and community, Quest is an organization critical to the lives of individuals and families across the Lower Mainland. I plan to bring my knowledge and experience in membership engagement, advocacy, and social enterprise management to the forefront and in service to every British Columbian who depends upon our services.”

Theodora recently retired from the Vancity Board of Directors where she was first elected in 2014, serving BC’s largest credit union membership as both Chair of Governance and Digital Strategy. She is also a co-founder of Feeding Growth, the program currently run in partnership by Vancity and UBC farms committed to supporting progressive food entrepreneurs interested in scaling their business.

Theodora Lamb’s official start date is June 28, 2021.
