Volunteers are the backbone of Quest's success; we would not be able to function without them. We have a small administrative team so we rely heavily on our wonderful volunteer base. Last year, our volunteers contributed over 15,000 hours of labour! This keeps our overhead low so we are able to make the most of the donations we receive.

Being a volunteer at Quest provides many opportunities: receiving basic training, gaining work experience, gaining credit for course curriculum, meeting other interesting people, and, most importantly, contributing to the well-being of those in the community.

Whatever your skills and objectives, Quest is grateful for your contribution. We are committed to providing a nurturing, productive, encouraging and safe environment for our volunteers and staff.

As a volunteer at Quest, you may be helping by:

• collecting and distributing food
• assisting in warehouse functions
• collecting and sorting donated food
• helping with office administration functions
• organizing fundraising events on Quest's behalf
