The animal feed program helps us reclaim even the food that's not good enough for people to eat and turn it into animal feed. Some of the food waste is fed directly to farm animals such as pigs and chickens.
Quest has also supported animal shelters, where even expired lentils and granola bars help feed birds and small animals. The rest is turned into silage, a type of animal fodder prepared by fermenting green vegetation in silos.
