INSTITUTIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM
|
Quest works in partnership with 12 training agencies which offer formalized job training and practicum placements for their clients. Quest provides these students with specialty training in a variety of food-related sectors such as catering, warehousing, food-processing, and food services, including counter attendants, kitchen helpers and cooks.
Institutional programs range from course credits associated with the completion of specified hours and/or activities in a volunteer capacity, to course components being carried out on-site by an entire class. Either way, students gain knowledge, expertise and skills while completing a practical series of course-related activities. |
Quest has assisted newSTART's participants in career exploration by providing valuable work experience placements, in which they receive both work experience and training. These opportunities are a crucial first step towards achieving economic independence...Thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Quest Outreach Society. |
